Travis Crim
was born in Birmingham, Alabama, where he eventually graduated from the University of Alabama with a degree in Public Relations and English Literature.
A former walk-on football player at UA, he spent twenty years in Los Angeles acting, producing, and writing screenplays. His literary inclinations rooted in Southern Gothic fiction were the impetus for his first novel.
Travis currently resides in Birmingham with his wife Delaine and their teenage son, Sylas. They have two older daughters, Ginsyn and Taegan, both married to outstanding young men.
